Il semble un peu abandonnée nid d oiseau dans le creux du bras..mais le gland semble bien placé..pour le protéger…mais de quoi?
Lorraine, cette statue de Doudou se trouve à Port-Louis, au Champ de Mars.
On ne se méfie jamais assez des coups bas, qui vous prennent la plupart du temps par surprise.

So he was actually Prime Minister Major Chancellor? How good can it get?
AJP, I’m afraid it is only the colonial government of Mauritius which is mentioned here (cf. photo), not the one of the entire United Kingdom. John Robert Chancellor was the British governor of Mauritius from 1911 to 1916. Before that, he served in India among the Royal Engineers. At the top of his military career he was a lieutenant-colonel — a word I wouldn’t like to have to pronounce in English.
